Big Weight is the level four Drop gag. It succeeds the Anvil but precedes the Safe.
The Big Weight can be obtained once the
toon earns a total of 500 Drop skill points. A toon can move up to the next level gag, the Safe, after earning a total of 2,000 Drop skill points.
Unlike other gags, the first five Drop gags do not increase their damage throughout the course of Drop training. As such, the Big Weight can deal a maximum damage of "45". If
grown on a tree and is organic, the maximum damage increases by four. It is capable of defeating level five cogs in one hit.
As with all Drop gags, except the
Toontanic, the Big Weight targets one cog.
A toon can carry a maximum of five Big Weights at first. After earning the
Grand Piano gag, a toon can carry a maximum of fifteen Big Weights.
The Drop track does not use the basic formula to determine the next increase in damage as the first five gags do not increase in damage.
Unlike other gag tracks, the Big Weight does not increase in damage over the course of Drop training.
toon presses a button on a trigger box causing a big weight to fall from the sky. If the
gag successfully hits the cog, it will be crushed by the big weight. The cog pushes the big weight from its back, and the big weight disappears.
The cog will either revert back to normal or be destroyed.
To be added...
This is the first Drop gag that falls on the cog's body.
The Big Weight is one ton, yet the trading card depicts it to be 16 tons and the icon depicts it to be 100 kgs.
Big Weights are seen outside of every
Goofy's Gag Shop. This gag is the
Back Stabber's weakness because it dulls their sharp edge. 1 ton is equal to 2,000 pounds in weight, which is far too heavy for a human being to even carry.
J.S. Bark, a Field office SOS toon, uses this gag when summoned. The cog on the trading card is a Telemarketer.
