Top Toons New Year's Day Marathon Over[]

The New Toon Year is here -- we hope everyone enjoyed the fireworks! It also looks like Toons had a blast with the Top Toons New Year's Day Marathon. Thanks for making New Year's Day so much fun. We are tabulating the winners, and remember the top Toon in each Top Toons category (except Sellbot, Cashbot, Lawbot, and Bossbot Victories) during each hour of the one-day event will win a Toontown Poster. Stay Tooned for the winners![1]

Cog Invasion Weekend -- Beware the Sellbot's Surprise![]

The Toon Resistance has intercepted a Cog memo, which indicates that the Sellbot invasion from a few weeks ago was just a test, and now those crafty Cogs have a real surprise in store for us. They are planning a large invasion -- code-named "Sellbot Surprise" -- and it begins this Saturday at 10:00 AM through 3:00 PM PT, then again at 6:00 PM through 11:00 PM PT, with a two more waves on Sunday. Thanks to our brave Toon Resistance members, the surprise will be on the Sellbots -- because the Toons of Toontown will be ready for them! So keep your eyes peeled, your gags fully stocked, and the streets safe from the Sellbots.[2]

SpeedChat Plus Updates[]

The Toon Council really hopes that everyone is enjoying SpeedChat Plus. We have been listening to your feedback, and based upon your comments, we have made some updates to this great new feature.

- Toon animal sounds are back! You can now manage Type Chat sounds in the Options page of your Shticker book.

- Toons with the "Open Chat with True Friends" feature can now group whisper to just their True Friends. To do so, click the Alt key and the Enter key at the same time when sending your message -- and only your True Friends within your immediate vicinity will hear you.

Also, we want to remind players that SpeedChat Plus is open to everyone -- including free Players. So if you haven't activated SpeedChat Plus yet, grab a parent and click the link below to get started!

With the addition of SpeedChat Plus to Toontown, we would like to remind players to follow Disney's House Rules while chatting. Never give out personal information, such as your name, address, or phone number and always keep your password safe -- even from your friends! If you are unsure of a situation, be sure to grab a parent for help. Also, the Toon Council is always here to help, so feel free to Contact Us if the need arises. Be a Responsible Toon, and help keep Toontown a fun and safe place to play. Remember -- a safe Toon is a happy Toon![3]

Cog Invasion Weekend -- A Cashbot Conundrum[]

A big thank you to all of the Toons who turned the "Sellbot Surprise" back on those crafty Cogs by beating their invasion all the way back to Sellbot HQ! But don't rest on this victory for too long, the Toon Resistance has learned that this may be the beginning of something bigger. Reports of Cashbots massing outside of Toontown have reached Toon HQ. They are definitely up to something -- it's a bit of a conundrum really. We are betting that they are getting ready for another series of invasions, but with Cashbots this time. Most likely starting this Saturday at 10:00 AM through 3:00 PM PT, then again at 6:00 PM through 11:00 PM PT, with a two more waves on Sunday -- just like last weekend. Keep your wits about you, and keep Toontown safe from the Cashbots![4]

Valentine Poetry Contest[]

Give your favorite Toon a "ValenToon-up" and show us how much you love Toontown by entering the Valentine Poetry Contest. Write a Toontown Valentine-themed poem of at least eight lines and submit it between now and January 28, 2009. The top 5 poems will each receive a Disney Mickey Mp3 Mplayer![5]

Cog Invasion Weekend -- The Lawbot Gambit[]

First it was the Sellbot surprise, then Cashbots started invading in waves. But we showed the Cogs what being a Toon is all about! The Toon Resistance has continued their investigation, and it appears their theory is correct -- these invasions are part of a bigger Cog plan. We are now facing impending invasions of Lawbots, but haven't quite deduced their purpose. Possibly these early invasions were a gambit to soften the Toons in anticipation for these later invasions? Regardless, we are ready for any challenge the Cogs dare to send our way! Since we are dealing with Lawbots, who appear to pride themselves on punctuality, it's a safe bet that their invasions will begin this Saturday at 10:00 AM through 3:00 PM PT, then again at 6:00 PM through 11:00 PM PT, with two more waves on Sunday. So let's turn this gambit back on them by keeping the streets full of Toons ready to battle these Lawbots all the way back to their HQ.[6]

Top Toons New Year's Day Marathon Winners[]

Toons had a blast with the Top Toons New Year's Day Marathon, and we now have our winners! Each of these top Toons for each Top Toons category (except Sellbot, Cashbot, Lawbot, and Bossbot Victories) during each hour of the one-day event wins a Toontown Poster.[7]

Cog Invasion Weekend -- The Trouble with Bossbots[]

Wow, what a month it's been -- Toons have faced some serious challenges from the Sellbots, Cashbots, and Lawbots. However, it should come as no surprise that word has reached Toon HQ and apparently the Bossbots have left their offices, heading en masse towards Toontown. We have also received a strange "appointment" from Cog Nation, which appears to be a meeting request. That's the trouble with Bossbots, they even call a meeting to have an invasion! According to this meeting, it looks like their final attempt at a "hostile takeover" will begin this Saturday at 10:00 AM through 3:00 PM PT, then again at 6:00 PM through 11:00 PM PT, with a two more invasions planned for Sunday. Also, it looks like the Toon Resistance has cracked the Cogs code to learn the reason for these invasions, details to follow soon. So stay Tooned![8]

Cog Invasions End -- A Secret Discovered ...[]

First it was a Sellbot surprise, followed by Cashbots invading in waves, then the Lawbot's gambit, and finally the Bossbots had their say. Meanwhile, the Toon Resistance was working to learn the reason behind these invasions, and they did. In secret, the Toon Council has been working on something really cool and fun for Toons to enjoy. Unfortunately, the Cogs discovered some of our plans, and they tried to stop us. But we showed these Cogs what being a Toon really means and beat their invasions back to the four corners of Toontown!

And what's the big secret? It's a little something we are calling:

Toon Parties!!!

While we don't want to let the cat, er, Toon out of the bag too soon, here is some information on what Toon Parties will include -- Toons will be able to have parties filled with crazy activities and wacky decorations, with in-game invitations, and a calendar system to help keep your busy schedule in order. We are really excited about this upcoming release, which is sure to keep Toons busy between HQ runs. So stay Tooned for future updates, and look forward to partying -- Toon style![9]

Valentine Poetry Contest Winners -- Check Out the Winners![]

A big thank you to all of the Toons who gave us a "ValenToon-up" by sending in Toontown Valentine-themed poems! We had a blast reviewing each entry, and we have our winners! These top five poems will each receive a Disney Mickey Mp3 Mplayer![10]

Knock-Knock Joke Contest[]

So, we are hosting a contest and inviting Toons to create knock-knock jokes that will be installed into three doors in Toontown! To enter, write a Toontown-themed knock-knock joke and submit it between now and March 4, 2009. The top three knock-knock jokes will be installed into three knock-knock doors in Toontown in time for April Toons' Day![12]

Ides of March Weekend Invasions[]

Always with their ear to the ground, Toon HQ has heard rumblings of something on the horizon -- "beware, the ides of March are near ..." Now with the ides of March upon us, Toon HQ has learned what this means. There is a sinister plot by the Lawbots to take over the streets of Toontown with a Backstabber Cog invasion!

These crafty Cogs are set to invade starting Saturday, March 14 in three waves: 2 AM through 5 AM PST, then at 10 AM through 1 PM PST, and finally at 6 PM through 9 PM PST. With these three waves of invasions set to repeat on Sunday, March 15. We really need your support facing this menace -- in order to keep the streets of Toontown safe from the Backstabber Cogs!

Also, the Toon Resistance has managed to secure eight Districts as safe zones from these invading Cogs. Toons should go to these Districts during the invasions if they aren't able to help Toon HQ face these lawless Backstabber invasions!

The Ides of March have passed, and Toon HQ would like to thank the Toons of Toontown for keeping the streets safe from the Lawbots during the Backstabber Cog invasion. Toontown's credo of cooperation means always being open to the newcomer and seasoned Toon alike! So, when Toon HQ offers you a task to help a lower Laff Toon -- take the challenge with pride. Who knows, the new Toon you helped mentor today, might be the advanced Toon you are running Bossbot HQ with tomorrow! Toons of the World Unite![36]

Toontown "Design a Party Decoration" Contest Winners[]

The Toon Council is really excited by the Toontastic response that we received for the "Design a Party Decoration" contest. Toons from all over sent enough entries to fill a wheelbarrow! It was a real challenge picking through so many creative designs, especially with all of the breaks we took to enjoy the new Toon Parties releases with everyone.

After much discussion with our friends from the Toontown Art Appreciation Society and our resident Party Toons, we are happy to announce that we have our three winners! These party decorations will be available for Toons to rent in an upcoming Toon Parties release![45]

Toon Resistance Alert -- Attention Toons![]

The Toon Resistance has received reports that the Cogs are growing concerned about all of the fun Toons are having with the new Toon Parties releases. Key resistance operatives who are deep undercover are reporting that the Cogs aim to do something about it, and are busy digging up the details on their dastardly plans. Keep your Toon eyes peeled here for developments on this alert. What do you think they are up to?[46]

Most Cogs Defeated Tournament[]

Thanks to the Toon Resistance we are in on the Cog invasion plans, and the Toon Council thinks we should make a game of the whole thing. Let's see how the Cogs feel about turning their "party ending" invasions into fun Toon games! We want Toons to defeat as many Cogs as they can during each day of the invasions. Not just the invading Cogs, but any Cogs that you see. We're not picky -- let those Cogs have it!

Are you Toons up to the challenge? To sweeten things a bit, we will offer prizes to the Toons who defeat the most Cogs. Starting Friday, August 21 through Monday, August 24, the top 10 Toons who defeat the most Cogs each day of the four-day long invasion weekend will win a Toontown Prize Pack -- including a Toontown "Cog Battle" Clock. Let's show those Cogs that they can't take away our fun![47]

Toon Resistance Alert -- Cog Invasion Weekend![]

The Toon Resistance has received reports that the Cogs are growing concerned about all of the fun Toons are having with the new Toon Parties releases. Key resistance operatives who are deep undercover are reporting that the Cogs aim to do something about it, and have located the details on their dastardly plans.

The intercepted Cog intelligence reports indicate that there are multiple invasions planned over a four-day period with the goal of pulling the Toons out of their parties and onto the streets to defend their town. Those crazy Cogs think this is the best way to end all of the Toon Parties fun. Each daily invasion is scheduled for the same times, starting at 2 a.m. through 5 a.m. PST, then at 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. PST, and finally at 6 p.m. through 9 p.m. PST. The details of each daily invasion are as follows.

Toon Resistance Alert

Sellbot Operatives: Cold Callers Invasion Date: Friday, 8/21/09 Objective: To call the Toons out of their parties.

Cashbot Operatives: Bean Counters Invasion Date: Saturday, 8/22/09 Objective: To count how many jellybeans Toons are wasting on fun.

Lawbot Operatives: Double Talkers Invasion Date: Sunday, 8/23/09 Objective: To talk Toons out of having a good time.

Bossbot Operatives: Downsizers Invasion Date: Monday, 8/24/09 Objective: To downsize all of the Toon fun.

With these details, Toons should be ready for each invasion. The Toon Resistance encourages all Toons to grab some friends, get your gags fully stocked, and help keep our streets and our Toon Parties safe from the Cogs!

Also, the Toon Resistance has managed to secure eight Districts as safe zones from these invading Cogs. Toons should go to these Districts during the invasions if they aren't able to help, and want to work on other ToonTasks.[48]

Game Update -- New Make A Toon![]

New Toons are joining the fun in Toontown all of the time, so the Toon Council thought it would be really great to make their first experience as Toontastic as possible. After some thought, we decided what better way than to give Make A Toon a Toon-up!

To start, the entire Toon creation process is now much faster so Toons can get to Tutorial Tom as quick as possible. In fact, it's now so fast that Mickey and Minnie decided that new Toons no longer require their assistance and have returned to their Neighborhood hosting duties on a full-time basis.

As an added feature for more experienced players, and based on feedback, Toons now have the option to skip the Toontorial. This new feature will be available for all players who have made one Toon and completed the Toontorial. Making it easier to drop right into the fun faster than a rabbit can smash a Cog!

Plus, we got so excited by our fun new Make A Toon rooms that we went ahead and gave the Pick A Toon screen a Toon-up too! So, what are you waiting for? There's a new Make A Toon -- so, go and make a new Toon![49]

Cog Invasions Beaten Back -- Party Catch and Decorations Released!!![]

Both the Toon Resistance and the Toon Council send a giant "Thank You" to the Toons who worked so hard this past weekend to defeat the invading Cogs. You saw through their gambit and helped keep our Toon Parties safe! They think we are having too much fun, and you know what ... they are right!

To show our appreciation, the Toon Council thought this would be a great time to open our last set of Toon Parties releases for this summer. Toons will really welcome our brand-new party game with open arms while enjoying the creativity of some fellow Toons with three brand-new player-created decorations. We can't think of a better way to cap off our summer of Toontastic fun than with this week's Toon Parties releases:

Party Catch - Catch fruit to win jellybeans! "Gag Globe" Decoration - "Designed by Olivea!" "Bean Banner" Decoration - "Designed by Cassidy!" "Gag Cake" Decoration - "Designed by Felicia!"

Plus, don't forget our other brand-new Toon Parties releases, which are available now at a Party Gate near you:

Tug-of-War - A Toon vs Toon party game! Fireworks - Your very own fireworks show! New Dance Floor - Now with 20 dance moves! New Jukebox - Now with 40 spectacular songs! More Cannons - Now up to 10 per party! More Trampolines - Now up to eight per party! "Noise Maker" Decoration - "Make some!" "Party Stage" Decoration - "No diving allowed!" "Party Bow" Decoration - "Pretty as can be!" "Party Gate" Decoration - It's both "fabulous and fun"! "Pinwheel" Decoration - A "spectacularly static spinner"!

Whew, with so much to do what are you waiting for? Let's get to partying!!![50]

Toon Parties Screenshot Contest[]

With so many Toon end of summer blowout parties happening, we thought it would be a great time to have a contest! We want to see how much fun you Toons are having. To enter, take a screenshot of your Toon having fun in a Toon party. You may want to mix things up with a themed party. For example, we have really enjoyed attending these wacky themed parties -- Dance parties, Cannon parties, Tug-of-War tournament parties, and Trampoline Jump-a-Thons. Or ... come up with your own, such as a brand-new theme with Party Catch!

Once you have taken some great Toon Party screenshots, enter the contest by submitting them between now and September 16, 2009. The top five Toon Parties screenshots will each receive a Toontown prize-filled Backpack stuffed with fun items -- including a Toontown clock, poster, watch and other Toontown goodies![51]

Summer is almost gone ...[]

But the Toons keep the party going! We have had quite the Toontastic summer filled with Toon fun -- from the launch of our Toontown Improvement Project, to the "Design a Party Decoration" contest, and the "Party Like a Toon" Sweepstakes. Then we had a blast with a 16-day long Summer Fireworks Extravaganza, some awesome game updates, and our Toontastic new Toon Parties releases (that the Cogs tried to take away). Whew, with so much fun, what's a Toon to do? Throw more parties, of course!

It may be the end of summer, but we can't let it pass so soon. Which give us a great idea -- Toons should host end of summer blowout parties! Let's show those Cogs how a Toon really parties by having fun with all of our brand-new Toon Parties releases. So grab your friends, and throw your own end of summer blowout party. Better yet, throw public parties for all of the Toons with these awesome Toon Parties releases!

Party Catch - Catch fruit to win jellybeans! "Gag Globe" Decoration - "Designed by Olivea!" "Party Bow" Decoration - "Pretty as can be!" "Party Gate" Decoration - It's both "fabulous and fun"! "Pinwheel" Decoration - A "spectacularly static spinner"!

Whew, with so much to do what are you waiting for? Throw a summer blowout party today!!![52]

Most Cogs Defeated Tournament Winners[]

Both the Toon Resistance and the Toon Council are amazed at the great turnout we had for the Most Cogs Defeated Tournament. You Toons worked really hard to defeat the invading Cogs and helped keep our Toon Parties safe. They think we are having too much fun, and you know what ... they are right!

There were so many Toons participating, we had to call in the assistance of our friends from the "Many Analytical Toons Happily Sorting and Furiously Unifying Numbers" Society (M.A.T.H.S.F.U.N.) to help tally the results. Thankfully those Toons can really work the numbers, and now we have our final winners. Please join us in congratulating these top Toons who defeated the most Cogs during each day of the four-day long invasion weekend. Each will receive a Toontown Prize Pack -- including a Toontown "Cog Battle" Clock.[53]

Toontown Improvement Project Final Topic[]

It's been a real summer of fun, and now that summer is done we are also bringing the "Toontown Improvement Project" blog to a close. A huge thank you to all of the Toons who participated! We have received so many Toontastic ideas and can't wait to bring some of them to Toontown.

But, before we go, be sure to check out our final topic -- Cog Nation -- is it real or Toon rumor? We want to know what you think, so teleport over to our player feedback blog where the final question of the week is all about Cog Nation -- and send us your TIPs![54]

Party Like a Toon Sweepstakes Winner![]

It's been a summer of fun here in Toontown and Toons have been partying like crazy. We have another Toon who is really going to throw a party because they have been selected as the winner of our Party Like a Toon Sweepstakes!

Please join us in congratulating ...

Miss Bonnie Zoobleton

She has won a Disney Parks celebration of her own, and we are happy to help make her celebration vacation dreams come true![55]

Fall Fun has Begun ...[]

Summer may be done, but no need to frown, because Fall has begun -- and there is so much for Toons to do! In addition to all of the fun things to do in Toontown -- like fishing, karting, partying, and smashing Cogs -- we have a ton of Fall activities planned to keep your Toon's schedule full. Plus, that autumn chill in the air doesn't just mean it's time to bundle up. That's right Toons ... our annual Halloween extravaganza is coming up, which is sure to be a screaming good time for all! Because in Toontown -- Fall means fun for all![56]

Toon Parties Screenshot Contest Winners[]

Wow, it sure looks like Toons were having a blast with end of summer blowout parties -- we received a pile of Toon Party screenshots higher than a stack of cakes! Thanks for sending so many entries. We have completed reviewing them (in between rounds of Tug-of-War and Party Catch, of course) and are pleased to announce that we have the winners. Please join us in congratulating the top five Toon Parties screenshot submissions, each will receive a Toontown prize-filled backpack stuffed with fun items -- including a Toontown clock, poster, watch, and other Toontown goodies![57]

Halloween Art Contest[]

We are getting ready for our biggest Halloween celebration ever, which can mean only one thing -- that's right, it's time for the Halloween Art Contest! To enter, show us how your Toon is spending their Halloween in Toontown by drawing a Toontastic Halloween scene. The top five submissions will win a Toontown prize-filled Backpack stuffed with fun goodies![58]

Halloween Cattlelog Items[]

This year's Halloween celebration is our biggest ever, and we want to make sure that Toons are all set to scare up some fun with Halloween-themed items available now, exclusively through Clarabelle's Cattlelog. Take your pick from shirts, SpeedChat phrases, Estate decorations -- including pumpkins -- and other spirited items ... or get them all! So start shopping for some Cattlelog treats, because Halloween in Toontown is almost here![59]

Halloween Is Near[]

Toons are getting really excited as our spooktacular celebration of all things scary is almost here! The Toon Council is busy placing the final creepy touches on our biggest Halloween ever as each neighborhood receives a spirited Toon-up with new decorations. Plus, Clarabelle is busy dressing up the Cattlelog with a few more fanciful items, and we hear the Cogs might have a trick up their sleeves on All Hallows' Eve. So just wait and see what treats we have in store for you when Toontown celebrates Halloween starting next week![60]

Something Spooky is Going on Here[]

Something spooky is definitely going on in Toontown as we kick off our biggest Halloween celebration ever! To start, we are really spreading the gloom all over Toontown this year with more bone-chilling decorations in each neighborhood. So creep around town and check them out!

If you haven't gone shopping for all of your Toontown Halloween needs, then now is the perfect time to get started. Clarabelle has some truly spirited Cattlelog items for you to collect -- including a real "treat" of a SpeedChat phrase that Toons will need to take part in trick-or-treating for a "gourd-eous" reward next week.

Plus, Black Cat Day is around the corner -- along with a few other surprises ... including a rumored trick from the Cogs on All Hallows' Eve that will definitely earn them a treat from the Toons (like a pie in the face!). So, be sure to check back next week for details on all of our ghoulishly delightful Halloween activities. It's sure to be a screaming good time![61]

Halloween Art Contest Winners[]

The Toon Council sends a shivering thank you to all of the Toons who showed their Halloween spirit with a Toontastic Halloween scene. We had a chillingly good time with our friends from the Toontown Art Appreciation Society reviewing each spooky entry, and we have our winners. Please join us in congratulating these top five spooky submissions, each wins a Toontown prize-filled backpack stuffed with fun goodies![62]

Halloween Is Here![]

Toons are really shaking in their shorts because our biggest-ever Halloween celebration is finally here! Enjoy all of the wonderful Toon-gloom with brand-new chilling Halloween decorations in each neighborhood. Then grab some friends and enjoy these spirited activities.

Black Cat Day On October 31 only, create your very own black cat Toon! Start a new Toon -- a cat, of course. Go through the Toontorial, and when Flippy asks you to use a SpeedChat phrase, say "Toontastic!" Poof ... you will be the proud owner of a rare, super-cool black cat!

Trick-or-Treating Grab some friends and gorge yourself on jellybeans galore while trick-or-treating around town October 27 through November 1. True to the spirit of the season, the Toon Council has played a trick and switched the locations of the treats! To join in the fun, first complete this puzzle and then talk to each playground host for a clue as to which shop in their neighborhood is participating. There are six total, so be sure to visit all six shops and use your "Trick or Treat!" SpeedChat phrase, available exclusively in Clarabelle's Cattlelog, to receive your "gourd-eous" reward -- a special Toon pumpkin head!

Toon Trick-or-Tips:

Trick-or-Treating at each shop location can be completed in any order.

You can only Trick-or-Treat once -- so be sure that there is enough room in your jellybean bank for all of your Halloween loot (600 jellybeans).

Your Toon Pumpkin head reward will last until Halloween is over, but completing any of the "Just for Fun" ToonTasks that reward a Toon-changing effect will remove it. To get your Pumpkin Head back, just go to any of the participating shopkeepers and use your "Trick or Treat!" SpeedChat phrase again.

Bloodsucker Invasions The rumors are true -- the Bloodsuckers' favorite time of year has arrived. Watch out for mega Halloween invasions of these ghoulish Cogs! The Toon Resistance reports that the Bloodsuckers are planning to pounce on unsuspecting Toons starting on Halloween for two bedeviling days of devious delight. The invasions are scheduled to occur both Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, starting at 2 a.m. through 6 a.m. PT, then at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT, and finally at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. PT each day. So help save Halloween by beating back these fiendish invaders!

Luckily, the Toon Resistance has hidden the following eight Districts as safe zones from the view of these Cogs. So Toons who want to work on their ToonTasks without interruption may continue to do so.

Crazy Grove Crazy Hills
Giggly Hills Gigglyfield
Goofy Valley Nutty Hills
Silly Valley Zany Acres

It's the spookiest time of the year, so scare up some friends and show those Cogs that we aren't afraid of their invasions -- because Toons love Halloween!

Plus, there is still time to get Clarabelle's "spirited" Cattlelog items -- including the brand-new Toon Halloween costumes -- but once Halloween day has passed, they will vanish until next year.[63]

Thanks for a Toontastic Halloween![]

Halloween may be over, but don't despair ... the spirited fun will return next year. The Toon Council sends a huge thank you to all of the Toons for making this our biggest Halloween celebration ever! The decorations were spooktacular, the pumpkin-headed Toons delightful, and the Bloodsuckers frightful!

Don't forget to say hello to each of the new black cat Toons for us, and be sure to help them with their ToonTasks -- we need them in our never-ending fight against the Cogs. Plus, it's a nice thing to do![64]

Break out your Fishing Rods ...[]

Toons are smack-dab in the middle of fall, and nothing says fall more than a fishing extravaganza. Well ... if you ask Billy Budd, that is!

That's right, Toons -- the legendary Toontown fishing extravaganza is right around the corner, and this year Billy has something reel-y special in his tackle box for the winners. So hightail it over to the nearest fishing pond and start practicing, because Billy is looking for the best fisher-Toons in town.[65]

Jellybean Jars, Banks, and You[]

Any seasoned Toon knows that when your jellybean bank and jar are both full, extra jellybeans earned go to Flippy's favorite Toon charity -- the Toons of the World Unite Foundation. While Clarabelle's Cattlelog does stock larger banks for purchase that can hold 2,500, 5,000, 7,500, or up to 10,000 jellybeans, many Toons report they are earning more beans than they can hold. While all Toons are very charitable by nature, wouldn't it be great to hold onto more of your earned jellybeans?

With this in mind, we have been thinking about removing these jellybean limits altogether so Toons can earn as many jellybeans as they like and keep them all. We would love to get everyone's feedback on this idea, so Toons -- please take a moment and let us know what you think. Would you like to see an increase in jellybean bank limits or larger banks for purchase, or should Toons just be able to carry a large number of jellybeans all of the time?[66]

Toon Holiday Shopping Begins![]

Clarabelle has just released some of her "a-moo-zing" holiday-themed decorations, SpeedChat phrases, and clothes, which are available now in the latest issue of her Cattlelog. Good thing, too -- with our Winter Holiday fun just around the corner, now's the perfect time to get the jump on all of your holiday shopping!

We love when a new Cattlelog comes out, how about you? What are your favorite items and what are you looking forward to buying or gifting to your friends for Winter Holiday?[67]

Billy Budd's 7th Annual Fishing Tournament[]

Break out your fishing rods, head to the ponds, and get comfortable -- it's time for the 7th Annual Billy Budd Fishing Tournament. Wow, seven years strong, and Billy has something reel-y special in his tackle box to commemorate this momentous occasion. What, you ask? Well, the winners will receive an exclusive fishing shirt for their Toon!

The competition begins Friday, November 20 and runs through Monday, November 23 -- for a full four days of fishing fun! The top 20 Toons in each of the five fishing rod categories (twig, bamboo, hardwood, steel, and gold) who catch the most fish -- per day -- will net an exclusive fishing shirt for their Toon. So stock up on jellybeans, bait your lines, and may the best fisher-Toons win![68]

Toontown Holiday Greeting Card Contest[]

Our Winter Holiday celebration is just around the corner, and the Toon Council is ready to celebrate! We want to start by wishing everyone a Toontasic holiday season, and welcome you to do the same with our holiday greeting card design contest. To enter, create an original Toontown-themed holiday greeting card for your Toon friends, family, or even the Cogs. Be creative: Use anything you like and make it any size you want -- just be sure to make it full of Toonerific holiday fun. Submit your card between now and December 7, and the top five cards will win a Toontown gift pack including a Toontown Hat![69]

Winter Holiday Extravaganza Begins[]

Our annual Winter Holiday Extravaganza is here -- and Toons sure are having a holly jolly time with all of the excitement! To start, the Toon Council has trimmed the town with festive decorations, so grab some friends and explore each neighborhood to see all of the Toontastic holiday trees and street lamps. They are sure to warm the hearts of Toons all over -- and maybe even a Cog or two. (Well, Toons can always hope, can't they?)

Clarabelle has also expanded her already "a-moo-zing" seasonal Cattlelog offerings with new Estate decorations -- including stacks of presents and cozy candles to help keep your holiday spirit aglow. The holiday shopping season is in full swing, so be sure to check-off your Friends List for all of the Toons who have been good this year! And sorry, there is no coal for the Cogs -- just pies!

Plus, there is a very special Estate snowman gardening statue for Toons to enjoy, which requires a gardening shovel skill of one point to plant. If you haven't started a garden, now is a great time to get your Gardening Kit from the Cattlelog, plant a flower (Hint: Use a green jellybean.), then wait one day to pick it to earn one shovel skill point -- then you can purchase and plant your snowman. So be sure to get one ... before he melts away!

The fun has just begun and there is more holiday cheer to share -- so keep your Toon eyes peeled for further announcements![70]

Billy Budd's 7th Annual Fishing Tournament Winners[]

Billy Budd sends a hearty thank you to all of the Toons who competed in his 7th Annual Fishing Tournament last month. We have finally finished tallying the results, and please join us in congratulating the winners for each day of the four-day long tournament. These are the top 20 Toons in each of the five fishing rod categories (twig, bamboo, hardwood, steel, and gold) who caught the most fish -- per day -- over the four-day weekend-long event. Each winning fisher-Toon will net an exclusive fishing shirt for their Toon! Winners can visit their Toon's Estate mailbox to claim their prize.[71]

Toontown Holiday Greeting Card Contest Winners[]

The Toon Council sends a huge holiday-sized thank you to all of the Toons who sent in Toontown-themed holiday greeting card designs. We received a mountain of submissions and had a blast reviewing them all (over many cups of licorice jellybean infused cocoa) and have selected the winners. Please join us in congratulating these top five Toons who each win a Toontown gift pack including a Toontown hat![72]

Sing a Song of Winter Holiday Fun[]

Our annual Winter Holiday Extravaganza is in full swing. The town is decked out with festive decorations and Clarabelle is keeping Toons in the holiday spirit with a bevy of "a-moo-zing" seasonal Cattlelog offerings. With all of this seasonal fun going on, we have a whole new way for full Toontown Members to spread the holiday cheer -- Toon Caroling!

To get started, all you need to do is complete this puzzle and then talk to each playground host for a clue as to which shop in their neighborhood is participating. Visit each shopkeeper and give them a seasonal Toon-up by singing any selection from the special "Caroling" SpeedChat phrase in your menu. They are sure to reward your seasonal cheer with generous gifts of jellybeans! Once you have visited all six shops with your Winter Holiday song, you will receive a "cool" reward -- a special snowman head for your Toon!

Toon Caroling Tips:

Caroling at each shop location can be completed in any order and in any District except Welcome Valley.

You can only carol to each shopkeeper for jellybeans once -- so be sure that there is enough room in your jellybean bank for all of your Winter Holiday rewards (600 jellybeans).

Your Toon snowman head reward will last until our Winter Holiday celebration is over on January 4, but completing any of the "Just for Fun" ToonTasks that reward a Toon-changing effect will remove it. To get your snowman head back, just go to any of the participating shopkeepers and use a "Caroling" SpeedChat phrase again.

So grab some friends and tour the town with songs of a "Happy Winter Holiday"![73]

Top Toons New Year's Day Marathon[]

As we welcome the New Toon Year, we also welcome the return of the Tooniest event in Toontown -- the Top Toons New Year's Day Marathon! The top Toon in each Top Toons category (except Sellbot, Cashbot, Lawbot, and Bossbot Victories) -- EACH HOUR -- will win an exclusive shirt for their Toon!

Toons are eligible to win one category for one hour. Runners-up will be winners in case of multiple wins. The competition starts at 9:00 p.m. PST on December 31 and will run for 24 hours.[74]

Celebrate the New Toon Year![]

It sure has been a Toontastic year with Toon Parties, wacky holidays, and endless Cog invasions. (Why are they always trying to spoil our Toon fun?) But this is Toontown, which means that the fun's not done -- ever!

The Toon Council has a ton of fun planned for the New Toon Year, which calls for one thing -- a celebration! Starting on December 31 at 1:00 a.m. PST, we will celebrate the New Toon Year with fireworks displays in each of the playgrounds -- every hour on the hour! The fun lasts all New Year's Day long, so grab some friends and party like a Toon![75]
