January[]
January 3, 2011: Fly for Free, but Only for One More Day![]
You've been enjoying the Toon Council's gift of free Estate cannon rentals, but if you haven't, you still have one more day! Go to the Options & Codes page in your Shticker Book and enter the code WINTER, and you'll receive 48 hours of cannon rentals at your Estate!
If you take advantage of this more than once, that makes you a frequent flier!
January 5, 2011: Need a Little R&R?[]
They helped Toons through OPERATION: STORM SELLBOT, but since then they've been busy busting Cogs and haven't been seen much... until next week! For the ToonTask Derby, they'll be out on the streets, helping Toons finish ToonTasks in record numbers. Who are they?
Hint: They're the stars of the Toon Resistance, and are so brave, their name rhymes with "danger!"
January 10, 2011: Join the Toon Platoon![]
You know the Toon Troopers, but have you heard of the Toon Platoon? You just might be a member! This brave group is made up of the 10 currently online Toons who have rescued the most buildings in a single district. Their names and the star they've earned appear on the blackboards in Toon HQs.
To learn more and be a star yourself, check out the Toon Platoon section of the Player's Guide.
January 12, 2011: News from your Favorite Typewriter![]
Toons who pay attention to the finer points of Toontown may notice that they got something they asked for... The adorable 'Toon News... for the Amused!' mascot - the jumping, googly-eyed typewriter - has begun acting a little differently.
Now, just like Clarabelle, the icon will only appear at the top of your screen when there's a new issue of the News for you to peruse. Once you've read it, the button will disappear. That leaves more room to watch the pies fly! After that, to look at any issue, click the new typewriter tab in your Shticker Book! (And to close it again, click the Sthicker Book icon. Are you seeing the trend?)
January 12, 2011: ToonTask Derby On Its Way![]
Get ready to be taken to task, because the ToonTask Derby is this weekend! From January 14-17, complete as many ToonTasks as you can, and you could win an exclusive shirt for your Toon! And if you require a hand (or a paw), there will be some familiar Toon faces on the streets to give aid...
Need help with a task? Just ask!
January 14, 2011: Resistance Rangers Do the Derby![]
This weekend is the ToonTask Derby, with special guests, the Resistance Rangers! The Rangers are being deployed because the Toon Resistance wants all Toons in top form, as there's trouble a-brewin' with the Cogs (what a surprise).
The Derby rules are easy – from the 14th to the 17th, the ten Toons who complete the most ToonTasks each day will win an exclusive Derby shirt. Will YOU be taking part in the ToonTask Derby this weekend?
January 18, 2011: Derby Done![]
The ToonTask Derby is over, and as a result Toons everywhere have Laffed-up, Gagged-up, and Jellybeaned-up! Whatever the Cogs plan on sending us, Toons will be ready to sign for it!
So while we wait for the results to be tallied, now's the time to brag: What were some of the toughest ToonTasks you completed in the ToonTask Derby?
January 19, 2011: Captured Cog Memo![]
This secret Cog memo was just retrieved by the Toon Resistance:
It looks like the Sellbot Cog type that does the best (or for Toons, the worst) work will get something in return. But what?[1]
January 21, 2011: What's the Memo Mean?[]
Toons have been put into a tailspin (and they have a lot of tails) over the captured Cog memo disclosed a couple days ago. It says the Cog type who does the best during an "upcoming action" (invasions?) will be "rewarded." What do YOU think it means?[2]
January 26, 2011: We Heard Your Screen Screams![]
You may have noticed a recent change to the way your Toontown game window behaves when you drag it to change its size. We did this so that things in Toontown wouldn't stretch or squish when you resized the window. (Well, unless we wanted them stretched or squished.)
We heard from lots of unhappy Toons who really, really liked it the "old" way – and the Toon Council takes unhappy Toons very seriously. So we're going back to the way it used to be! If you want to make sure your window doesn't look strange, use the Options page in your Schticker Book to change the resolution and switch between windowed and full screen modes. If you don't mind a little strangeness, go ahead and resize it!
January 26, 2011: BREAKING NEWS - SELLBOTS INVADE![]
Still smarting from their defeat in OPERATION: STORM SELLBOT, the Sellbots have launched a full-scale invasion of Toontown! The Toon Resistance is reporting the Cogs are coming in three waves each day: 2:00 AM - 5:00 AM, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, all Toontown Time. We don't know what Sellbots will be in each wave – they could be Cold Callers, they could be Mr. Hollywoods, or anything in between! The upside is there are six invasion-free "safe districts": Gigglyfield, Crazy Grove, Giggly Hills, Goofy Valley, Silly Valley, Zany Acres. Good luck out there, Toons![3]
January 28, 2011: Lost Doodle Found![]
While it may seem like the news out there is all Sellbot-bad, here's something good: The last missing Doodle who chewed the wires and started OPERATION: STORM SELLBOT has been found! This Doodle, named "Sparky," was discovered outside Lawbot HQ, where he was stuck in a big hole. Welcome back, Sparky – now go help Toons fight Sellbots! Good boy![4]
January 31, 2011: Operation What?[]
With Sellbots swarming the streets as retaliation for OPERATION: STORM SELLBOT, some newer Toons may be wondering: Huh, what's that? Well, several months ago, a group of Doodles chewed the wires outside Sellbot Towers, bringing down the power and weakening the VP. The Toon Resistance took advantage and declared OPERATION: STORM SELLBOT! For several weeks, every Toon in Toontown could enter the Towers with special Cog Rental Suits and battle the VP. Eventually the power was restored, but not before the Sellbots took a pounding. No wonder they're still mad![5]
February[]
February 2, 2011: It's No Joke - Jokes Stolen![]
Movers & Shakers have been stealing Jokes all over Toontown! As if the ongoing Sellbot invasions weren't bad enough, now Toons' favorite comedy commodity – their Jokes – are going missing everywhere. The recently discovered Cog memo from the VP told the Sellbots if they "distinguish themselves" in the invasions, they'll be "rewarded." Does this mean the Movers & Shakers are going to get something from their boss? What will it be? And more importantly, how can Toons get those Jokes back?[6]
February 4, 2011: What's YOUR Favorite Joke?[]
Toons tell them to each other to Toon-up. Knock-Knock Doors say them when you walk by. Cogs wouldn't know one if it bit them on the behind. They're JOKES, and they're one of the most valuable things in Toontown! How's about you tell us YOUR favorite joke![7]
February 7, 2011: Invasion Poetry![]
As the Sellbot invasions continue, we thought it was time to get inspiring with a little poem:
Movers & Shakers,
You've stolen our Jokes,
And damaged our Laff with your Quakes.
You better get ready
To eat lots of pie
And wear a few birthday cakes!
Now it's your turn – write a poem that will motivate your fellow Toons!
February 9, 2011: Movers & Shakers Make Waves[]
The Sellbot invasions are over, and the VP has chosen the Movers & Shakers to be awarded... what? We can't quite see exactly, but for stealing Toon jokes during the Sellbot invasions, the Movers & Shakers clearly distinguished themselves in the glaring eyes of their boss.
What do YOU think the Movers & Shakers are getting?
February 14, 2011: Happy ValenToons Day![]
Do you have a special Toon? Maybe it's EVERY Toon, or maybe it's just YOU! Give them all some love today, because it's ValenToons Day! Yes, the Sellbot invasions are over, but the Movers & Shakers haven't yet revealed what they received for stealing Toon jokes, so let's take this moment of calm and bask in Toon love! Who's YOUR ValenToon?[8]
February 17, 2011: Movers Move Into Field Offices![]
The Movers & Shakers have been awarded their own building! For stealing jokes from the Toons, the Sellbot VP gave the Movers & Shakers a "Field office," which if the Sellbot HQ is the "Main Office," must mean it's a building for spreading Cog nastiness even further afield.
Initial reports state these Field Offices have two levels – a "Mover Maze" and an "Executive Suite," but the big news is what else they contain – our stolen jokes! It's no laughing matter – we need those back! Have you seen one yet?
February 22, 2011: Toons Behind Bars![]
Reports are coming in that some of the Toons being rescued from Mover & Shaker Field Offices aren't even the shopkeepers of the building, they're innocent bystander Toons! This has consistently been the case with buildings that are taken over but have no regular shopkeeper to throw behind bars.
So be careful walking the streets out there. We're talking to YOU, Lemmy Owte! (Isn't that name kind of asking for trouble?)
February 25, 2011: Tougher Field Offices? Get Outta Town![]
Most Toons are finding the new Mover & Shaker Field Offices quite a challenge, but if you're sailing through, try going to a higher neighborhood! Field Offices in Donald's Dreamland and The Brrrgh have more Cogs in the Mover Maze, tougher Bosses in the Executive Suite, and everything does more damage.
In other words, you'll earn that Toon-up from the jokes you recover!
March[]
March 1, 2011: Who's the Boss?[]
The Movers & Shakers have been given Field Offices, but sometimes the Boss in the Executive Suite isn't a Mover & Shaker. Why? Well, the Toon Resistance has discovered that Sellbot bosses get a LOT of vacation time, so even though a Mover & Shaker runs the building, sometimes he does it from an Executive Suite at the top of a beach-side resort.
At least his portrait is there to remind everyone who's in charge!
[]
Now that Toons have had a little time to explore every nook and cranny of the Mover and Shaker Field Offices, the Toon Council wants to hear from the experts - YOU!
Got any tips, hints, tricks, or secrets to share? Well what are you waiting for? Spill the beans!
March 10, 2011: Flippy's Big Secret...[]
My fellow CouncilToons and I have been keeping a close eye on Toontown since those Mover and Shaker Field Offices landed – and we can't help but notice that you Toons have been making SHORT work of those Mazes and Executive Suites! So we've been thinking... What could we do to reward you for all your water-balloon-throwing, joke-saving, Cog-crushing effort?
We came up with something you're SHIR-To love... But we're not ready to let the cat out of the cupboard just yet. (Sorry for SKIRTING the issue!) What do you think we've got up our sleeves?
March 16, 2011: An Extreme Scene at Green Bean Jeans![]
You may be wondering how those Toon scientists could still be working on the Silly Meter after all this time... Well for one thing, they're easily distracted by, well, pretty much everything. But they also have dozens of side projects lurking in the corners of Loony Labs, and one of them just went haywire in Green Bean Jeans on Oak Street in Daisy Gardens!
Poor Eugene worked through the night to get it all cleaned up. But what will this havoc mean for the rest of Toontown? It turns out Eugene didn't quite clean up ALL of that green gunk... There's still enough left for YOU!
All you have to do is swing by the shop and say one of the ‘Green' SpeedChat phrases to Eugene. Then watch the green-ness grow! Don't worry, it will only last for a day – and if you want to do it again, you can go back as often as you like (until he really does get it all cleaned up.) And to complete the look, check out the new, super-green fashions in Clarabelle's Cattlelog! Your friends will be green with envy (or they'll just be green!)
March 16, 2011: Flippy's Big Closet Surprise![]
So we CouncilToons have been thinking to ourselves... Selves, we need to do something BIG to thank Toons everywhere for showing the Movers & Shakers who's really in charge around here. Is there something they've wanted for a long, long time? Something they can keep, that they'll use every day? Something in their Estates that's made of wood and they can put things in? Hmmm... Well there is one thing... Maybe it's finally time to... DOUBLE THE SIZE OF CLOSETS!!!!!! That's right, Toons! Closets now go all the way up to 50 ITEMS!!! And for a limited time, the 50 item closet will be available in Clarabelle's Cattlelog for just 50 Beans! (After that, you'll have to buy bigger closets one at a time, like before - so act fast!) And we've got one last important question... How do you like the surprise?[9]
TOON COUNCIL UPDATE: The Cogs got wind of our Toontastic surprise and have intercepted some Cattlelog shipments! No need to worry though - they won't spoil our fun. The Resistance Rangers are already on the move to recover the Cattlelogs and get them delivered to Toons' homes quickly. Toons should receive their new Cattlelog with the 50 item closet within the next 7 days - so keep checking your telephone!
March 20, 2011: Last Chance to Turn Green![]
Time is running out to try a new hue! If you haven't seen yourself in green, head over to Green Bean Jeans on Oak Street in Daisy Gardens, and say one of the "Green" SpeedChat phrases to Eugene. Your new look will last for a day, and you can spruce it up with the green-themed getups available in Clarabelle's Cattlelog. And hey – with the new 50 Item Closet, you've got plenty of room![10]
March 23, 2011: The Return of the Silly Meter![]
Attention Toons, it's the moment you've been waiting for - The Silly Meter is back in Toon Hall (along with those trouble-making Toon Scientists)! What's it doing there? We're not sure... But where there's a Silly Meter, you can be sure there's something silly just around the corner! Got any guesses?[11]
March 31, 2011: April Toons is here![]
Can Toontown get any wackier? Ready or not, it's time to celebrate the silliest Toon holiday ever – April Toons!! Toons pull silly switcheroos, gravity goes haywire at your Estate, and just wait until you see what your Doodle has to SAY about it! The hilarious holiday runs non-stop from March 31 through April 7. Get your pie-throwing arm ready - you have been warned![12]
April[]
April 8, 2011: Wackiest Ever April Toons' Week![]
Thanks to all Toons for making this one of our most ridiculously silly spring holidays ever! We hope everyone had a Toontastic time! Who knew Toons could jump so high, or that Doodles had so much to say? And now that Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto are all back where they belong, we can take a second to look back on all the fun! What silly things did YOU do this April Toons Week?[13]
April 13, 2011: Toons "Get Connected!"[]

Now your Toon can get the same Toontastic new Get Connected Sellbot Field Office shirt! How do you get it? Easy! Just go here and follow the steps.
Every Toon can get one Get Connected Sellbot Field Office shirt from now until May 15, 2011.

April 15, 2011: Toon Resistance Alert: Cog Invasion!![]
The Toon Resistance's recent reports are confirmed: Number Cruncher Cogs are on the move and swarming into Toontown today!
You definitely don't want your Toon audited by one of these crunching Cashbots. So Toons unite and get your best gags ready! Let's show these Number Crunchers that their number is up! For Toons who want to stay clear of the Number Crunchers swarm, the Toon Resistance has hidden the following Districts as safe zones from the Cogs:
- Crazy Grove
- Gigglyfield
- Giggly Hills
- Goofy Valley
- Silly Valley
- Zany Acres
Hmm... wonder why a Cashbot would pick April 15 of all days to invade Toontown??
April 20, 2011: Jellybean Day On Its Way![]
You asked for it and it's coming back – Jellybean Day!
Toons can celebrate their beloved candy with double jellybean awards in Toon Parties all day long this Friday April 22!
I can't wait to blast out of Party Cannons all day long!
How are YOU celebrating Jellybean Day this Friday?
April 26, 2011: Jellybean Day a Big Hit![]
Toons know how to throw a party, especially when it means double beans!
Cannons roared and Toons soared, bouncing from trampoline to trampoline as the jellybeans kept on rolling in during Toon Parties everywhere! After all the dancing and celebrating, one thing's for sure – Toons love their jellybeans!
Thanks to everyone for making Jellybean Day so much fun!
April 27, 2011: Reminder to "Get Connected!"[]
We've seen tons of Toons around town proudly sporting the new Get Connected Sellbot Field Office shirt! Have you gotten YOURS yet? Get Connected Toons RockStarBR and Hanaroni have been having a great time meeting lots of Toons each weekend! They'll be in Toontown Central every Saturday and Sunday through May 8. You can find them usually in Bouncy Summit, Kooky Grove or Silly Valley. Come on by and say "hi" this weekend![14]

May 4, 2011: MiniGolf May-nia this Weekend![]
Grab your golf clubs – May is here and it's time for Toontown's fourth-annual Acorn Acres Invitational! The minigolf mania begins this Friday, May 6 and runs through Monday, May 9. Members are invited to play Chip ‘n Dale's MiniGolf to try and sink the most "holes-in-one" on the course of their choice during one of those four days. The 40 Toons with the MOST "holes-in-one" on each course - each day - during the Invitational win a Toontastic minigolf shirt! Good golfing, Toons![15]
May 10, 2011: Thanks for a Swinging Acorn Acres May Invatitional[]
The ToonCouncil thanks all Toons who competed in this past week's MiniGolf event! Lots of spectacularly skillful shots were made and many "holes-in-one" were sunk during the four-day Invitational. To "putt" it mildly, we're impressed! Winners with the most "holes-in-one" will be posted in an upcoming In Game News, and the special Acorn Acres MiniGolf shirt prize will be awarded at that same time. So stay Tooned![16]
May 12, 2011: We're Fishing for a Winner![]
Our Toontastic spring events continue this month with Melville's May Fishing Tournament! Aye, Captain Melville challenges all Toons to enter his annual Fishing Tournament this weekend: Friday May 13 - Monday, May 16. Catch the most fish in a 24-hour period any day of the Tournament using one of the following fishing rods: Twig, bamboo, wood, steel or gold. The top 20 Toons who catch the most fish per rod, each day, will win Melville's Fishing Tournament prize - Toon fishing shorts or skirt! We love a good fish story, so let us know what wacky fish you reel in...[17]
May 17, 2011: Pour It On With Double Watering![]
With all the amazing events, Toon Parties and contests this spring, do you ever feel like you don't spend enough time keeping up your Toon Estate? As always, the ToonCouncil is here to help make things easier...
We've souped-up ALL watering cans - so from now on - they pour TWICE as much water!
If you haven't picked up a Gardening Kit yet from Clarabelle, order one from your Cattlelog and create your own personal Toon Garden today. You can grow gag trees to replenish your gag supply, and plant jellybeans to grow 40 different types of flowers to increase your overall Laff limit.
You can even sell your picked flowers right there at your Estate to earn more jellybeans!
So check in on your Estate and spend some quality time with your flowers and trees – they miss you (and your Doodle probably does too)!

June 22, 2011: Defeat the Most Cogs![]
Toons enjoyed a full month of Acorn Acres Invitational, Melville's Fishing Tournament and the Grand Prix Weekend. Then Toons rejoiced for a whole week earning jellybeans by the truckloads. Needless to say, the Cogs are NOT pleased. So why don't we give them something to really be sad about? Before those dastardly Cogs can cook up any new invasions into Toontown, let's take the battle to them first! Defeat as many Cogs as you can this weekend, from Friday, June 24 through Monday, June 27. It doesn't matter what types of Cogs you battle – in the streets or in Cog Buildings – just bust those awful robots to pieces! June 30, 2011: Fantastic Summer Fireworks Spectacular![]
(Try saying THAT five times real fast!) Toons proved they are more than Toon enough this past weekend, battling back the Cogs and teaching those oily upstarts a lesson in laughter. What better way to celebrate busting Cogs than fireworks bursting over Toontown! When the summer skies darken, Toons "ooh" and "ahh" at the colorful displays over each of the playgrounds – every hour on the hour. You know Toons can't do anything small, so our beloved Summer Fireworks Extravaganza explodes across the Toontown skies for 16 whole days! Summer Fireworks begin today and rocket through to July 15. July 6, 2011: Launch Your Way Into Toontown![]
As most Toons know, up to now there were two ways to play Toontown – either through a web browser window or by actually launching the game from your very own desktop.
Overwhelmingly, we've heard from you Toons that you prefer playing through the launcher, so very soon Toontown will be moving back to playing through the desktop launcher only.
If you currently play through the browser version, get a jump start by downloading the Toontown Launcher today!

July 13, 2011: Toontown Safety[]
The Toon Council reminds all Toons to follow Disney's Online Code of Conduct here.
We're very aware of the "hackers" who break these rules by manipulating Toontown's program (or telling other players how to do so), in order to change the way Toontown behaves. We take hacks and those who use them to break the rules in Toontown very seriously, including banning or permanently terminating their accounts.
In the end, the only thing hackers really do is knock you and other Toons out of Toontown. The problems they cause unfortunately take our programmers away from creating the cool, new stuff you Toons have been asking for. While we work to stop their Cog-like activity, YOU can also help keep yourself and Toontown safe.
Play Toontown only with the software provided for download at Toontown.com. Using other software to play Toontown for you (sometimes called a macro) or altering the Toontown software code in any way is not permitted. Though you might not know it, this interferes with gameplay for lots of other Toons, and often results in a system crash. This means the Toontown developers have to stop creating new, fun things to do in Toontown while they figure out what happened.
Also, the Toon Council is always here to help. Feel free to Contact Us with any known hacks or if you would like to report someone using or giving out hacks.
If you are unsure of a situation, just grab a parent for help. Check out more great tips here and help keep Toontown a fun and safe place to play!
July 14, 2011: New Toon Accessories![]
Clarabelle, Toontown's top Toon designer, has been working hard creating wacky and wonderful new accessories for Toons to wear – and Clarabelle's Big Cattlelog Surprise is finally here!
Toons can now really stand out and express themselves with the latest, most Toontastic accessory items available in Clarabelle's Cattlelog.
Shoes, glasses, backpacks and hats – now Toons can wear it all!
And that's just for starters...
When she had the brilliant idea to create the zaniest, most way-out accessories for her Cattlelog, Clarabelle went straight to Professor Preposterous at Loony Labs for help. After all, when you're designing amazing stuff like scuba tanks, dragonfly wings and jet packs, who better to ask than the Toon Scientists?
Getting your new accessories is a snap! First go to Clarabelle's Cattlelog and buy a new trunk for storing your accessories. Accessories can only be kept in a trunk, not your usual wardrobe.
Then start browsing all the amazing accessory choices! Just like regular Cattlelog items, it takes Clarabelle about an hour to ship accessories right to your Estate mailbox.
TOON TIP: If you don't yet see the new trunk in your current Cattlelog – don't worry! The trunk will appear in your next Cattlelog soon.
Once you buy the trunk, it takes a day to ship, so you'll have to wait until you receive your trunk before getting your first accessories out of your mailbox. Since your first new accessories may arrive in your mailbox before your trunk does, don't discard your accessories while you wait for the trunk! Leave the new accessories in your mailbox until your trunk is delivered, then you can take them out and put them on your Toon!
Call Clarabelle today and look your Toontastic best for summer, because this first batch of Toontastic accessories is only just the beginning!
July 27, 2011: "Ode to the Jellybean" Contest Winners![]
Thank you to all the talented Toons who entered our "Ode to the Jellybean" poetry contest! After enjoying each and every one of your wacky and witty jellybean poems, we finally narrowed it down to twenty poems that really stood out.
To see the list of winners and read all 20 Toontastic poems, check out the new "Toon News... For the Amused" today!
July 29, 2011: Toon Safety Reminders[]
A safe Toon is a happy Toon! We care about your safety, and encourage Toons to always play safe. An easy way is by never sharing your account information with anyone -- even if they are your friend, and promise to make your Toon stronger. Giving out your name or password is just not safe.
Be a responsible Toon, and help keep Toontown a fun and safe place by following these easy rules:
- Never give out your personal information - such as your name, address, or phone number.
- Always keep your password private and safe - even from your friends!
- Only play Toontown with the software provided for download at Toontown.com.
Using other software to play Toontown for you (sometimes called a macro) or altering the Toontown software code in any way is not permitted. Though you might not know it, this interferes with gameplay for lots of other Toons, and often results in a system crash. This means the Toontown developers have to stop creating new, fun things for you to do in Toontown while they figure out what happened.
- Never share True Friend Codes with Toons you don't know.
You can now turn off incoming whispers from Toons you don't know by going to the Options page of your Shticker Book and clicking "Turn Off" for whispers . That way you only receive whispered chat from Toon Friends you know.
When in doubt, always ask a parent for help.
August[]
August 1, 2011: "Help A Toon" Week[]
New Toons join us in Toontown everyday, so the Toon Council has dedicated an entire week to helping new Toons everywhere!
From August 1 to August 8, we encourage Toons to help our new, lower Laff Toons.
Whether it's helping a newer Toon complete their ToonTask, or showing them the ropes on busting Cogs through gag training, it's Toontastic to lend a hand!
Our famous salute "Toons of the World Unite!" means always being open to the newcomer and seasoned Toons alike. Who knows... the new Toon you help today might just be the advanced Toon you're battling next to in a Cog HQ tomorrow!
August 4, 2011: Accessory Spotlight: Hats![]
Does your stylish Toon "have a head" for the latest accessories? From hats to bows, there are tons of Toontastic choices for summer!
Look your best at Toon Parties in the (what else!) party hat, or blasting out of cannons in the wacky propeller hat. And the sombrero is already becoming a fiesta favorite!
The new fishing hat is the perfect accessory while you reel in all those rare fish species. We've seen some stylish Toons also casting a line in their straw hats, sun hats and even pirate hats!
And if minigolf is your game, the golf hat is a sure winner.
What's YOUR favorite Toon accessory to wear on your head? Let us know!
August 10, 2011: What's the Toon Platoon?[]
You can join the Toon Platoon – in fact, you might already be a member!
This brave group is made up of the 10 currently online Toons who have rescued the most buildings in a single district. Their names and the star they've earned appear on the blackboards in Toon HQs.
To get all the details and be a star Toon yourself, check out the Toon Platoon section of the Player’s Guide!

October 19, 2011: Toontastic Trick-or-Treating[]
Treat Yourself to Jellybeans and a Toon Pumpkin Head! From October 21 to November 1, round up your friends, put on your costume and accessories, and Trick-or-Treat to earn jellybeans - and a Jack-O-Lantern for a head! Here's how:
- Members can purchase the "Trick or Treat!" SpeedChat phrase from the Cattlelog.
- Visit the six Shopkeepers who are taking part, in any order, and say "Trick or Treat!" to them.
- Once you've visited the sixth Shopkeeper, POOF! Your head is a Jack-O-Lantern until November 1!
Your Jack-O-Lantern head will last until Halloween is over, but completing any of the "Just for Fun" ToonTasks that reward a Toon-changing effect will remove it. To get your Pumpkin Head back, just go to any of the participating Shopkeepers and use your "Trick or Treat!" SpeedChat phrase again. BEWARE: Some hats and glasses accessories may look ghastly when worn with the Pumpkin Heads – some may even seem to disappear like a ghost! If you don't like the way a hat or glasses looks with your Pumpkin Head, just take off that accessory. Once the Pumpkin Head wears off, you can always put the accessory back on. You can only Trick-or-Treat once, so be sure that there is enough room in your Jellybean Bank for all your Halloween loot: 600 jellybeans.[33]
October 26, 2011: Beware the Bloodsucker Invasions![]
It's no Halloween trick - the Toon Resistance confirms reports that Bloodsucker Cogs plan to invade Toontown this weekend, Saturday October 29 to Monday October 31! These creepy Cogs are set to swarm in three waves: 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. PST, then at 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST, and finally at 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. PST. For Toons who want to avoid the Invasions, the Toon Resistance has already cleared the following Districts as safe zones:
- Crazy Grove
- Goofy Valley
- Gigglyfield
- Silly Valley
- Giggly Hills
- Zany Acres
Toons unite and bust those Bloodsuckers! Let's show these ghoulish Cogs that they can't spoil Halloween fun in Toontown![34]
October 28, 2011: Safety Reminder from the ToonCouncil - UPDATE![]
The ToonCouncil reminds all Toons to play safe, by never sharing your account information, log files, or personal information with anyone -- even if they promise to help you by making your Toon stronger or look different. Allowing someone else access to your account can result in a hacked Toon, a ban, and even termination of your account. No one wants to lose all the time and effort spent building up a Toontastic Toon. Giving out your name or password or log files is just not safe, so remember to stick to these easy rules:
- Always keep your passwords private and safe - even from your friends
- Never give out your personal information - such as your name, address, or phone number
- Never share your Toon's log files - with other Toons in-game
If you are unsure of a situation, just grab a parent for help.[35]
October 31, 2011: Black Cats Come Back[]
Happy Halloween, Toooons! October 31st is the one day of the year you can make a super-rare Black Cat Toon! You don't need a witch's brew, just follow these easy steps:
- Create a new CAT Toon of any color

- POOF!* You now have a BLACK CAT TOON!
Your Black Cat will look Toontastic in all the new accessories and Halloween costumes. Happy Trick-or-Treating, Toons![36]

Candles, holiday trees, wreaths, snowflake wallpaper, snowmen, and more are all the perfect way to welcome the Holidays! Right now you can also find a special, snowy species of Doodle in the Cattlelog – the SnowDoodle! This chilly critter loves to decorate your Parties and Estate, but get them quick before the Winter Holiday ends and they all melt away... Even Toon Parties take on a holiday glow, with the Present Catching Game, and snow, candies, lights and ribbon on the inflatable Cogs, Bandstands, trampolines, and Cog-O-War. Holiday Parties are a Toontastic way to celebrate holiday cheer with your Toon friends! The Reindeer Doodles sure enjoy it...[39]
December 8, 2011: Blast Your Way Into WINTER Fun[]
Get set for high-flying Holiday fun, thanks to this special gift from the ToonCouncil to all Toons: 48 hours of cannon rentals at your Estate! Go to the Options & Codes page in your Shticker Book and enter the code WINTER. You'll receive 48 hours of cannon rentals to enjoy at your Toon Estate. Learning to fly out of a cannon is the gift that keeps on giving![40]
December 14, 2011: Sing a Song, Wear a Snowman Head all Season Long[]
When it comes to Holiday Caroling, every Toon can carry a tune – and the rewards are both sweet and snowy! From now through January 4, put a Snowman head on your Toon by singing holiday carols to six special shopkeepers in Toontown. You need to sing just one of your Caroling SpeedChat phrases to each shopkeeper (doesn't matter which carol, they enjoy them all!). You'll get a stocking full of jellybeans each time, and a cheery Snowman head when you sing a carol to the last shopkeeper! If you need some extra clues, just chat with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and the other playground hosts. And don't forget to check your Cattlelog this week for a whole new batch of Winter Holiday goodies - like sleds, snowman wallpaper, ice cube flooring, and even more warm winter clothing! Tips for Tune-tastic Toon Caroling:
Make your merry rounds caroling to the shopkeepers in any order and in any District, except Welcome Valley. You can only carol to each shopkeeper for jellybeans once, so make sure there is enough room in your Jellybean Bank for all your Winter Holiday rewards: 600 jellybeans! Your Snowman head will last until our Winter Holiday is over on January 4, but completing any of the "Just for Fun" ToonTasks that reward a Toon-changing effect will remove it. To get your Snowman head back, just go to any of the participating shopkeepers and use a "Caroling" SpeedChat phrase again. Brrr - some hats and glasses accessories don't look their best when covered with snow! If you don't like the way an accessory looks with your Snowman head, just take off that accessory. Once the Snowman head melts away, you can always put the accessory back on.[41]
December 16, 2011: Turn Heads by Turning Into a Polar Toon[]
Turning into a Polar Toon is a Toontastic way to enjoy the Winter Holiday! To make yourself as frosty as a SnowDoodle, just go visit Paula Behr at Hibernation Vacations on Polar Place in the Brrrgh. Say the SpeedChat phrase "Howdy!" to her, and – POOF! Your Toon is now as white as snow! Add some winter accessories, and you're ready to celebrate the Winter Holiday in true frosty fashion. Brrr! - This snowy white effect melts off your Toon if you leave the freezing cold temperatures of the Brrrgh! It's just too warm and wacky in those other Neighborhoods.[42]
December 20, 2011: Remember to Open Your Cannon Gift![]
Toontown's Winter Holiday is full of gifts, and you should definitely not miss out on this one from the Toon Council! Go to the Options & Codes page in your Shticker Book and enter the code WINTER, and you'll receive 48 hours of cannon rentals at your Toon Estate![43]
December 21, 2011: Toon Troopers Play Party Elves![]
Toon Parties are decked out for the holidays with SnowDoodles, falling presents, candy trees, and cozy Cogs – can anything make them more festive? The Toon Troopers think so! And they're going to crash as many Winter Holiday Parties as they can this week to prove it – with jellybean gifts for you! Look for TEO, TAFFY, TESSA and TYCHO making surprise appearances in public Holiday Parties this Thursday and Friday, December 22-23! These Troopers will be handing out candy beans in all Districts, so host your own Winter Party to celebrate the holidays! HINT: Be on the lookout for the Toon Troopers between 4pm - 5pm (PST) on Thursday, and between 11am - 12pm (PST) on Friday. It's easy to spot a Toon Trooper with the whistle symbol over their heads - and the jellybeans from their hands![44]
December 23, 2011: ToonCouncil Reminds All Toons to Stay Safe[]
Avoid any "humbug" this Winter Holiday, by always following these Toon rules:
- Never share your log files with anyone
- Never share your account or personal information
Even if they promise to make your Toon stronger or look different, this will more likely result in a hacked Toon, a ban, and termination of your account. No one wants to lose all the time and effort spent building up a Toontastic Toon. Accounts terminated for hacking or sharing personal information or log files will not be reinstated.
Giving out your name or password or log files is just not safe, so remember to stick to these easy rules:
- Never share your Toon's log files - with other Toons in game
- Always keep your passwords private and safe - even from your friends
- Never give out your personal information - such as your name, address, or phone number
Feel free to Contact Us if you would like to report someone asking for your account information or password.
If you are unsure of a situation, just grab a parent for help.
