Background[]

A few months after the game was pubically released in June 2003, Disney started to send out newsletters to those who subscribed to the game. They were sent to the subscriber's address in real life with a unique envelope design and contained information on what was new on Toontown Online.

Disney stopped producing newsletters at the beginning of 2010, which was the same time Toon News... for the Amused! came out.
