Hypno Goggles is the level 6 Lure gag. It can be obtained by gaining 6,000 skill points total for the Lure track. The Hypno Goggles have a low accuracy, or medium when grown on a tree. A toon can carry a maximum of three Hypno Goggles at once. When the gag is used in battle, it will lure all cogs.

Animation

  1. The toon using the Hypno Goggles will step forward and will move its arms forward in a "mummy" fashion near the cogs as the purple goggles with swirls will appear on the toon's snout.
  2. If the gag works, all the non-lured Cogs in the battle will lean backward and take a step near the toon with its arms in a "mummy" style.
  3. The toon will step backwards and return to its standby pose and the goggles vanishing automatically.

Trading Card Description

Gag
HypnoGogglesTC
Dr. Trance's Hypno Goggles - Hip, No? Dr. Trance says: You are getting sleepy... very sleepy... All you can think of are my patented Hypno Goggles... They are perfect for luring Cogs into Traps... The goggles emit a 'greed ray' that overloads cog circuits with visions of dollar signs, tax rebates, and corporate takeovers.

Dr. Trance's Hypno-Goggles - Hip, no?

Hypno Goggles are the most powerful Cog lure jellybeans can buy... I will count to three and you will awake, waiting only one thing... to buy a pair of Dr. Trance's patented Hypno Goggles... available at Gag Shops everywhere... one, two, three!"

  • The first edition Trading Card shows a Blue Dog drawing forth four Cogs: a Money Bags, Penny Pincher, Bean Counter and a Pencil Pusher.
  • Also on the first edition card is a "Goofy's tip," which says, "Powerful lures are a great way to keep a group of Cogs from attacking for a while. Use the lure, then attack the Cogs one at a time until they are defeated, or wake up.
  • During the lure, the frames of the Hypno Goggles can't be seen, only the lenses.
  • When talking to Goofy he may say, "Gwarsh, at my Gag Shop in the Brrrgh Hypno Goggles are sold for one jellybean each!"
