Minnie will show you a dance sequence. Try to repeat Minnie's dance just the way you see it using the arrow keys!
”
The objective is to follow the sequence given by Minnie Mouse as fast as possible and in the correct order. There are four rounds, ten seconds each, and the further the game, the more moves to copy. The goal is to match the arrow keys faster than the toon's opponents. When the sequence is revealed, the sequence will be removed from the screen, and the toons must try to remember the sequence and input the keys correctly. Failing a key will result in the toon stumbling and losing a round.
The fastest toon will receive more jellybeans at the end of the game.
During the course of the game, the number of move increases:
This Trolley game has music comprised of 2 percussion tracks; one that plays cymbal noises, and another that plays a "ticking"-esque sound. However, there is an unused version of this music that has additional instrument tracks in it; a pizzicato string track and an acoustic bass track. In Toontown Online's files, the used version of the music is labeled "m_match_bg1.mid", while the unused version is labeled "m_match_bg2.mid".
When performing a move (Up, Down, Left, or Right), an instrument sound will play. A drum plays for down, a trumpet plays for up, a piano plays for left, and a guitar plays for right. These sound effects for the various moves are likely recycled remnants of an older version of Match Minnie where instead of hitting the arrow keys to make matching movements, players would be required to click instrument buttons to make matching instrument sounds.
This is the only trolley game to feature a playground character.
