March 1, 2007 [sv1.0.25.13]

  • Attention Toons over age 13! Toontown is now integrated with the new Disney XD on!
  • Here's what we need you to do to take advantage of the new features:
  • Log into and verify your account name and password. It is possible that you may be prompted to choose a new account name. If so, please go ahead and complete that process. Do not start playing Toontown yet!
  • Go to Disney XD on and log in using your Toontown account name and password and create a D-Name.
  • Set your chat permissions in DXD to allow True Friends (was Secret Friends) through the "Open Chat With Unlimited True Friends" option under the Communication Preferences Tab in your DXD Account Manager. *** Please Note *** By default your new DXD account will have the same chat permissions as your Toontown account.
  • Create and exchange DXD True Friend Codes (was Secret Friends) with people you know who have also created a D-Name. You'll then be able to Chat with your True Friends no matter where either of you are in the network, including from within Toontown.
  • Log into Toontown and chat with your new D-Name friends.
  • For more details about D-Names, DXD, and chat permissions please visit:
  • Once you have some True Friends, we want you to check out the new Friends List features.
  • Friends listed in green are SpeedChat friends, and those listed in blue are True Friends (was Secret Friends) who you can chat openly with. This color scheme better matches the colors of the OpenChat and SpeedChat buttons.
  • Player Friends will be highlighted in BOLD when they are logged into Toontown.
  • The Friends List also has new tabs:
  • Online Toon Friends - This list only your Toontown friends who are currently online, by Toon name.

April 25, 2007 [sv1.0.27.5]

  • The Toon Council has decreed that Toons should proceed with caution while invading Cog Headquarters. Therefore, the following elevator minimum Laff point requirements have been instituted to ensure the general safety of the Toon population.
  • Sellbot HQ
    • Front Elevator - None
    • Side Elevator - 31
  • Cashbot HQ
    • Coin Mint Elevator - None
    • Dollar Mint Elevator - 66
    • Bullion Mint Elevator - 71
  • Lawbot HQ
    • Office Elevator A - None
    • Office Elevator B - 81
    • Office Elevator C - 86
    • Office Elevator D - 96
  • Also, once a Toon boards a Cog V.P., C.F.O., or C.J. HQ elevator, they can Hop off only once. If a Toon Hops off one of these elevators, they must wait until it leaves or empties of all Toons before boarding again.

Other updates:

  • Added elevator related SpeedChat phrases.
  • Improved stability in the new trolley games and in the victory dance after Cog battles.
  • Made an improvement to the Gifting subsystem. When you first call Clarabelle you will see the "Buy Gifts" button grey'ed out and it will show "Trying...", this is a way for us to check to make sure Gifting is working properly before you make any purchases. If for some reason Gifting is not working properly, the "Buy Gifts" button will stay greyed out and you will not be able to buy gifts during that time. If you ever encounter this, please submit a bug via our Report a Problem page!

Acorn Acres is accessible from a tunnel in the Donald's Dock Playground. Once in Acorn Acres, Toons can enjoy the various outdoor activities available, such as having a picnic, catching a ride on a geyser, and of course, playing some minigolf! There are 3 Toontastic courses for Toons to enjoy:
    • Walk In The Par

    • The Hole Kit And Caboodle
  • Once your Toon is ready to golf, it's easy to play. Press the Left or Right Arrow keys to change your Tee spot and press the Control key to set it. Then press the Left or Right Arrow keys to aim and press and hold the Control key to swing your club. Holding the Control key will increase the power of your swing.
  • Toons can earn up to 30 different minigolf trophies -- earn them all and receive a total +3 point boost to your Laff limit! Keep track of your records and achievements on the new minigolf page in your Shticker Book. Don't forget to yell "Fore!" with the new minigolf SpeedChat phrases, and remember -- no mulligans allowed!
