You also need merits to fight the VP. There are four main routes of taking on the Factory to get merits. The first way is the Short. This involves just fighting the cogs you need to and then taking on the Foreman. The next type is Short Invasion. This involves only going through the cogs you need and then waiting or summoning an invasion when you are about to defeat the Foreman for double merits. Also there is Long. This involves going through ''EVERY'' cog in the entire factory and then defeating the Foreman without waiting for an invasion. The last known type is Long Invasion. This involves defeating every cog and waiting for or summoning an invasion at the Center Silo.
