TNT is the level six Trap gag. It succeeds the Trapdoor and precedes the Railroad. It is capable of destroying cogs from level 8 up to level 11 in one hit.
Basic Information
The TNT can be obtained by earning 6,000 Trap skill points. It does a minimum damage of 90 to a cog, a maximum damage of 180, and 99-198 when organic, depending on how strong the TNT is. It attacks one cog with perfect accuracy. However, in order for it to activate, a Lure gag must be used afterwards.
Skill Points
To determine the next increase in damage for a TNT, take the number of skill points required to obtain the next gag and divide it by the number of increase (the maximum damage - the original damage). You should therefore get an estimate. In equation form:
- Where X represents the skill points for the next gag, Y represents the starting point of this gag, M represents the maximum damage, and O represents the original starting point.
The TNT equation:
For every 44.44 skill points, the TNT's damaging attributes increase.
Animation
- The toon using the TNT will pull out the TNT and throw it in front of the targeted cog.
- When the cog with the TNT is successfully lured by a Lure gag, the cog will look below to see the TNT, look up, and look at the TNT again.
- The TNT will explode with a yellow cloud that says "KAPOW!", making the cog a dark gray color and knocking the cog back.
- The cog will take a few steps forward or jump in place, then take a few steps back, turning back to its original colors.
- Then the cog will either return back to normal or be destroyed.
Trading Card Description
Trivia
- TNT is also a name for a Doodle.
- This gag is capable of destroying a level 11 cog (an organic TNT will leave a level 12 cog with two health points left).
- Unlike all other level 6 gags, a toon can only carry two TNT gags at a time.
- This gag is the second strongest in Toontown, and the strongest one before Level 7 Gags were introduced.
- TNT stands for "trinitrotoluene" and is extremely toxic and explosive in real life.
- The first TNT in Toontown can be found in Toon Hall.
- The sound when TNT hits is the same sound when a cog explodes, only a shorter version.
- In many cartoons such as Tom and Jerry, Tom uses the TNT in numerous attempts to catch Jerry.
